Deacons, Ministers and Evangelist, this intense and thought provoking training will allow you to become more effective in your area of ministry. The course will be held once a week on Thursday's, 7:30pm - 9:00pm. (Day & Time subject to change)

Student will prepare and deliver a message from an assigned theme using the following guidelines/steps:

Make a rough draft of your guideline
-
Write/Type final draft of your outline
-
Include the following in outline:
-
Subject/Topic, Introduction/Lead In, Supporting Scriptures, Biblical/Non-Biblical examples, Foundational Scripture and Conclusion

Student will be given the time to present their sermon the following wednesday night of class
Stay within the following parameters and time restrictions:

20 miniutes to deliver message
-
Subject and Theme must correspond with theme given
-
(5) Supporting Scriptures must be included
-
God, your leaders, and ministers of the Gospel must be acknowledged
Written Sermon 2: Write/Type a sermon of your choice using the tools you have been taught
Final Exam
Student has two weeks to prepare for final exam, final exam will cover questions of what you have been taught, it consist of three parts:

Part One consist of 50 true or false, multiple choices and fill in the blank questions.

Part Two Written Essay; student will be required to write a one page essay about your experience and thoughts of this course.

Part Three Two-Part Outline; student will write a sermon outline from an assigned subject, be sure to include all important parts.
Additional Information
-
Student will have 30 minutes to complete each part.
-
No books will be allowed during final exam.
-
Please bring (2) pencils with erasers the night of exam.
-
All guest will be asked to be seated in the last row during the exam.
Please note , final grades and test scores will be given out two weeks from the night of the final exam. Please refer to the grading scale for pass/fail grades.
If you have passed the course, please schedule an appointment to meet with the pastors for your one on one interview and next steps. If you did not pass you may schedule to re-take the exam within one month.
